Q2 2024 iOS Performance of Top Zombie Games in the US

In the second quarter of 2024, the undead genre remained popular among iOS users in the United States. Sensor Tower's data reveals the performance of the top five zombie games in this period.

Plants vs. Zombies™ experienced a steady revenue, peaking at $66K in early April before stabilizing around $20K towards June. Downloads showed a downward trend, starting at 509K and settling near 238K by the end of June, with weekly active users similarly decreasing from 2.2M to 1.4M.

The sequel, Plants vs. Zombies™ 2, also saw its revenue peak in early April at $183K, dipping to $79K by late June. Downloads remained relatively stable, averaging around 250K throughout the quarter, while weekly active users declined from 3.7M to 2.8M.

Last War:Survival, on the other hand, had its highest revenue in late May at $1.5M, with significant spikes and troughs throughout the quarter. Downloads surged to 853K in the final week of June, an impressive increase from earlier weeks. Weekly active users saw an upward trend, starting at 4.7M and reaching over 6M by the end of June.

For Idle Outpost: Business Game, the revenue started to be recorded in late April and saw an impressive growth from $0 to $449K by the end of June. Downloads and weekly active users followed a similar upward trajectory, with downloads jumping from 43K to 544K and active users rising from 37K to 697K in the same period.

Lastly, Age of Origins:Tower Defense showed a strong start in revenue at $2.3M in early April but saw a decline to $48K by late June. Downloads fluctuated, peaking at 224K in early June, while weekly active users grew modestly from 294K to 353K mid-quarter before declining to 165K.
